Unfortunately, after decades of marriage, I went through a divorce in Oregon. Looking back, I can't imagine navigating the legal obstacles without Joel Geelan. I started with mistrust of attorneys who might work you into a frenzy in order to run up a bill, knowing full well they couldn't legally win the positions they talked me into. Joel was first to address this very notion during our initial consultation, before I ever had the chance to bring it up. Not only did he assure me of his work integrity, he consistently did his best to save me time and money while navigating the Oregon laws. Throughout the journey, Joel and his excellent paralegal were accurate, professional, kind, and informative. Both could be counted on to answer all concerns and questions whenever I became confused. The issues that required negotiating with my ex's attorney, I felt so lucky to have Joel's legal knowledge and negotiating experience.
