Jacklyn has a passion for guiding clients and their families through potentially difficult life circumstances. She has an extensive background in guardianship and conservatorship proceedings, property division divorce, probate and estate planning including planning for taxable estates and negotiating settlement agreements for families experiencing extreme conflict. Jacklyn was previously a National Certified Guardian and worked with a team of professional fiduciaries to administer trusts, estates, and conservatorships.
During law school, Jacklyn worked in the Wills & Trusts Clinic and clerked at the Department of Justice, Trial Division and conducted significantly large research projects, including the interpretation of the Uniform Trust Code and research on the federal and state legislations protecting the rights of LGBTQIA+ older adults.
Before achieving her goal of becoming an attorney, Jacklyn worked as a legal assistant for 10 years where she gained experience in a variety of family and elder law matters, including divorce, estate planning, guardianships, and conservatorships.
Beyond the Desk:
Jacklyn views life as the next big adventure and loves living in the Pacific Northwest for this reason. She is extremely active and loves camping, hiking, paddleboarding, and taking road trips with her family, friends and dogs.
